Seven horses lost their lives on Tasmanian racetracks last year. Many more were injured, and what happened to these animals afterwards remains unknown.
As recent as on Australia Day 26 Jan, 2024, the only three-year-old gelding Hell Toff was killed after breaking off his entire fetlock during a race in Launceston, Tasmania.
Join us when we stand up for the horses forced to run and risk their lives at the Launceston Cup 2024.
We’ll meet by the entrance to the racetrack at 10:30. Placards will be provided.
Please bring refreshments and appropriate clothing – check the weather forecast.
Join for as long or as little as you can. The horses will be grateful!
