Horse Racing Kills. Not only are racehorses killed directly from racing every 2-3 days in Australia, thousands are also killed when they are no longer considered of use to the industry. A two year long investigation conducted by the Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses and Farm Transparency Project resulted in a public outcry when ABC 7:30 aired the documentary "The Final Race - The Dark Side of the Australian Horse Racing Industry."
