Register Your Own Nup to the Cup!

With each passing year, the Melbourne Cup and horse racing, in general, suffers blow after blow for failing to address the many welfare concerns that plague the industry.

Melbourne Cup Day is now being turned on it’s head as more and more people are saying “Nup to the Cup!” rejecting animal cruelty and transforming  it into a day where people celebrate animals rather than exploit them, and hold events to raise much needed funds for the hard working charities around Australia.

Visit our brand new Nup to the Cup website here, where you can find an event near you, register your own event or promotion, view our support kits and find information on hosting a Nup to the Cup at your workplace.

Last year #NupToTheCup was trending all day on Twitter and we saw a record number of Nup To The Cup! events being held both privately and publicly Australia-wide.

Hosting your own Nup to the Cup! event or special inhouse promotion at your own business or place of work is a powerful and positive way to boycott the Melbourne Cup and demonstrate that you can have a good time without engaging in
animal cruelty.

We welcome you to register your Nup to the Cup! event/business promotion here so that we can help you promote it as the Spring Carnival approaches. It does not need to be on Melbourne Cup day specifically if another day through the Spring Racing Carnival suits best. It also doesn't necessarily even have to be during the Spring Carnival eg. the Hobart Cup is in February and offers another opportunity to take a stand against horse racing cruelty which happens all year, not just in November.

Visit our brand new Nup to the Cup website here, where you can find an event near you, register your own event or promotion, view our support kits and find information on hosting a Nup to the Cup at your workplace.

Let’s make the first Tuesday of November a party FOR the animals!
