Horse Racing Kills!
Join us to protest the Lark Hill Cup on the 26th April outside the Lark Hill Racetrack.
Rockingham Council controversially sponsored the new Lark Hill Cup despite going against their own event policies. We spoke up for the horses at the council meetings and in emails, it’s now time to stand up for them in person.
Horses endure whips, tongue ties and bits, forced to race beyond their limits, with an on-track fatality every two days, and thousands more horses sent to knackeries annually across Australia, it’s time to end the animal cruelty and ban horse racing.
Please dress smart-casual – dressing up is encouraged.
Come prepared for the weather – bring a hat, sunscreen or a rain jacket/umbrella depending on forecast. We will be there come rain or shine.
Signs and banners provided.
