The 2024 Jumps Racing Report has been finalised. 10 horses killed. 24 horses fell. 275 cases of horses struggling to safely clear the obstacles. A record 20 jockey falls from their horses. Three horses were killed on the final day of the season alone, making it the worst day in jumps racing’s history in Australia.

Following this disastrous 2024 jumps racing season, Racing Victoria has initiated a review into the future of jumps racing.
This is a unique chance to finally put an end to the inherently deadly jumps races once and for all. You can help by making a submission to the Jumps Racing Review Group by Thursday 24 October 2024.
